An exciting opportunity has arisen for us to recruit a Trust Business Administrator to play a key role at Forward Education Trust, a growing Multi Academy Trust established in 2017 serving special schools across the West Midlands area.

The role includes a wide variety of duties which are crucial in ensuring that our schools run safely and effectively.  You will become part of our friendly established central team.

The successful candidate will be professional, able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. They will be able to multitask and manage a varied workload prioritizing in a fast-paced environment. They will have strong ICT, literacy and communication skills.

  • You will act as the first point of contact at our Trust offices for our schools and external contacts, communicating with people face-to-face, by telephone, email and letter.
  • Administrative duties will include providing administration services to the Director of Operations, Director of Finance & Trust Business Manager, dealing with incoming and outgoing post and emails, data inputting, maintaining paper and online filing systems, printing, photocopying, scanning, etc.
  • You will support meetings by ensuring room set-up is as needed and visitors are provided with relevant information and refreshments, tsking minutes if required.

Key responsibilities will include;

  • To provide an efficient and effective administrative service to the Trust and schools
  • To be responsible for an efficient and effective reception and switchboard service
  • To support business operations to run smoothly and efficiently
  • To provide finance support to the business team
  • To be responsible for managing stationery and staff room supplies
  • Placing orders and recording these in the finance system.

 

  • Responsible for supporting schools with Management Information Systems (Bromcom)
  • Supporting Schools administration functions
  • Maintaining policy records and calendars
  • Liaising with schools to answer queries
  • To ensure all tasks are carried out with due regard to Health and Safety
  • To adhere to the ethos of the school and Academy Trust
