Hallmoor School, a Forward Education Trust School, specialises in the education of pupils aged 5 to 19 years with a range of diagnosis including Moderate Learning Difficulties, Autistic Spectrum and Severe Learning Difficulties. This is an opportunity to make a real difference. As a member of the school Leadership team, you will report to the Head Teacher and liaise closely with the Deputy Head to lead Key Stage 5 across the whole school. You will play a critical role in driving the school forwards on its journey towards an improved OFSTED inspection outcome.
You will have significant knowledge and experience of:
- working in a special school setting with some leadership responsibility
- mentoring staff and holding others to account
- working within a number of key stages and phases
- developing high and aspirational outcomes for learners with diverse needs and abilities
You will be required to:
- mentor others to achieve consistently high standards of teaching and learning
- lead pupil progress meetings with teams across the whole school
- contribute significantly to the school development plan and whole school curriculum
- be ambitious for the learning outcomes for all learners across the school
