An exciting opportunity has arisen for us to recruit an Office Manager to play a key role at Brays School. Brays School is part of Forward Education Trust, a growing Multi Academy Trust established in 2017 serving special schools across the West Midlands area.
Brays School are a special school for primary age and pre-school children. All our children have complex learning needs, and many have additional physical and/or sensory needs. We value our relationships with parents and carers and the wider community.
The successful candidate will be professional, able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. They will be able to multitask and manage a varied workload prioritizing in a fast-paced environment. They will have strong ICT, literacy and communication skills.
Leading our school office team offers an exciting range of challenges, you are at the centre of the efficient working of our school working directly with our most important stakeholders – our children, their families and our staff. Under the direction of the Headteacher, but with personal responsibility and autonomy, you will have a direct impact on helping to ensure our school remains successful in the care and education of our children.
Key responsibilities will include;
- Management of the administration team and school’s administrative function
- Providing HR and Finance support to the School and Trust Central Team
- Providing excellent reception and switchboard support to the school
- Minuting meetings as required
